We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, as it was very close to major cultural sites while still being in a local neighborhood. The staff was excellent and very interested in helping guests navigate the city and recommending local tourist activities. The hostel facilities were great, with a bar playing international music and places to recharge our mobile batteries. The cleanliness of the hostel was also impressive, with both the dormitory rooms and shared bathrooms being well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast options were varied and looked delicious.
Nothing to mention.

The Location
We were cheated! We had a booking confirmation but they didn't give us a room. Instead, they offered us ugly rooms in a partner hostel nearby, which we didn't take. The rooms were dirty and in need of renovation. Alltogether this looked like they planned on selling rooms in the partner hostel, but offering them as the orginial rooms.

Located in the heart of the historic hutong area, this hostel is situated on a lively pedestrian street. It is conveniently close to major attractions like Tianmen Square and the Forbidden City, making it easy to explore the sights. The rooms are clean and airy, with amenities such as air conditioning and fresh towels. The restaurant offers tasty food and a variety of beverages for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff speak English well, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The bathrooms could use some attention in terms of fixtures and fittings.

Wonderful friendly staff with good English skills, very helpful. Location was great, walking distance to shopping, great eats, Tienanmen Square and Forbidden City. Close to subway line. This is a hostel so you have the young people coming and going, but our double room was comfortable and we didn't feel out of place as an older married couple.

Great place to meet other travelers and easy to socialize. Excellent staff who speak English well and are very helpful. Convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. The hostel has a fantastic bar area in the middle for chilling, eating, and meeting people. The art in the hostel is great and adds to the ambiance. The 24/7 front desk is very convenient for easy access and assistance. The value for money is good, and they offer a great Great Wall tour.
Felt very welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

This hotel is excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is really near Qianmen Street and has a lot of restaurants nearby. It is also within walking distance to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. There are plenty of great restaurants and street food options just steps away from the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is that it is within walking distance to Tiananmen Square and a subway station.
All was fine, no complaints.

The staff were awesome. The reception girls spoke english fluently and were so helpful. The Great Wall tour was incredible. We stayed in a private twin room, it was super comfy.
The water was a little temperamental, sometimes there was no hot water, and once there was no water at all....
