The location was good. Cheap and great excursions. Good food.
Bugs in the bed
We were cheated! We had a booking confirmation but they didn't give us a room. Instead, they offered us ugly rooms in a partner hostel nearby, which we didn't take. The rooms were dirty and in need of renovation. Alltogether this looked like they planned on selling rooms in the partner hostel, but offering them as the orginial rooms.
The staff were awesome. The reception girls spoke english fluently and were so helpful. The Great Wall tour was incredible. We stayed in a private twin room, it was super comfy.
The water was a little temperamental, sometimes there was no hot water, and once there was no water at all....
Wonderful friendly staff with good English skills, very helpful. Location was great, walking distance to shopping, great eats, Tienanmen Square and Forbidden City. Close to subway line. This is a hostel so you have the young people coming and going, but our double room was comfortable and we didn't feel out of place as an older married couple.
friendly, good location
wifi was poor, food not very good, bathroom drainage poor
The location was very good. The common zones and bar was very good
The first floor rooms have a tremendous humidity The people from the reception was not helpful and had not a good level of english
The quality of the rooms. We stayed there 4years ago and came back last week, just to discover the rooms are not maintained and not clean or warm. The aircondition was bad and it was very cold in the rooms or eben in the lounge.
Old building but can enjoy traditional chinese style feature.
Location close to Tiananmen square is absolutely perfect.
Staff and very good location. Few meters and you have everything you need like restaurants, tea shps, super market, macdonalds, metro and bus station
Staff not very helpful-gave me no information when I checked Paid to have laundry done and when they gave it to me (a day later than agreed- the day I was leaving) it was still all soaking wet! Toilets should be cleaned more regularly
